My Treo is on the Sprint network. Lately they have taken to calling me once a day on my cell phone as "a courtesy call to see if we can save you money on your phone plan" (i.e. upsell me on their new services). When I complained that I didn't want them calling my cell phone unless there is a problem with my particular account, they got defensive and said, "It's a free call, sir."

I don't care if it's a free call! You are interrupting my time on my cell phone, which is only used to receive important calls! The fact that it doesn't cost me anything on my Sprint bill does not affect the fact that I do not want to be interrupted.

This is compounded by the fact that, most of the time that I receive these calls, there is no operator on the other end. So for 3 days now, I have gotten a call from their 800 number, only to be hung up on as soon as I answer it.
